Flip Flop

Painted Toenails Snack

(John 13:14)  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

(John 13:15)  For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Flip Flop
  • Jumbo hot dogs
  • Hot Dog Buns
  • Barbeque Sauce or Ketchup
  • Mustard (optional) For the little pretty stylish dot

Cut the hot dogs into two pieces.  At the uncut end, cut a thin, 1/2 inch long slice off the top to make the toenail.  Paint the toenail with barbeque sauce.  Place all the “toes” on a cookie sheet and bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Cut the hot dog buns into two pieces and serve the “Toes on a Bun.”

Use this snack to go along with the Flip flop "Walking in his footsteps" Lesson.

The lighting made these look red. I just painted the ketchup on the nail part and put a dot of mustard for a stylish look. haha  Just add some hot dog buns that are halved to each one and take them to church for the kids to gobble up! What an interesting snack this will be!
