Sunday School Lessons
These lessons are paired with lots of stuff to go with them. They have recipes, writing paper, crafts, coloring pages and so much more. If you do these lessons all in order they will do 10 Children's church lessons for Sunday morning. These are great to do if you are breaking each plague down. We hope you enjoy each lesson as much as we did. Your kids will have a blast learning about each plague with fun crafts and snacks to go with it.
For Children's Church just print off a
lesson for each child so they can follow along and take home with them
so their parents can see what they have learned. If you are not able to
print a paper off for each child then you can print just one and read it
to them.
I usually use the marker board that I have in my room to draw while I am teaching the lesson. I draw the little stick figure people out. Kids really pay attention when you draw on the board. Not sure why that holds their attention, but it does. Then I let them make their craft and then I give them a snack. You can give them a coloring page if they all get finished early.
We do the drink
disciple and food disciple every Sunday as well. We always pick a two
children to help hand out snacks and drinks. Sometime we do pick a
number between 1-20 and I tell my husband ahead of time what the number
is. When the kids go around the room and tell me what their number is,
the closest one gets to be the food or drink disciple. They love this!
We have also been singing the Ten Plagues of Egypt song every time
during class so they remember what the plagues are. It is sung to the
tune of This Old Man. I found this on the Kids Sunday School Place Website. I suggest printing this off and using it.
