Give the kids some dental floss and have them thread some cereal onto it. You could use plain dental floss or flavored. I say to use dental floss instead of string because it's made for going in the mouth and safe for kids. Not to mention if you use flavored it will taste good. You could make candy bracelets instead of necklaces if that would be easier. Or they could just do a ring depending on how much time you have in class.
If you don't have time to make these during class time then you could always buy some candy necklaces from the store.
This snack idea goes with our matching lesson plan "
Thou Shalt Not Covet Sunday School Lesson". This snack is suppose to represent and go along with the lesson and picture of the little girl saying, "I will get that necklace." We are not suppose to covet our neighbors house or his belongings. This candy necklace was just to get the point across to the children.
